-Handwriting & Letter Formation
Helping your child print letters efficiently: Learning to identify and print letters is an important skill. Incorrect muscle memories can be hard to unlearn later. Therefore, our aim is to encourage efficient letter formation right from the start. Practice booklets are provided below and describe the ways children are learning to form letters. Learning to automatically control letter formation frees the child to focus more energy into expressing their ideas in daily “kid writing.” The end goal is fluent letter formation. Fluency = speed + accuracy.
